The Grillin’ Beans Perfect Pair Recipe Contest has three phases: video submission, voting and the cook-off to determine the Grand Prize Winner.
The Contest is currently in the Cook-Off Phase. Be sure to come back on August 29 when we announce the Grand Prize Winner.
1. Video Submission
From March 24-June 6, 2008, contestants submit videos of themselves demonstrating how to make their favorite chicken, steak or chop recipe that pairs perfectly with one of Bush’s New Grillin’ Beans varieties: Southern Pit Barbecue, Bourbon and Brown Sugar, Steakhouse Recipe or Smokehouse Tradition.
From all videos submitted, 12 Semi-Finalists are chosen (three for each of the four types of Grillin’ Beans). Each Semi-Finalist receives a $100 Omaha Steaks Gift Card and a case of Bush’s Grillin’ Beans.
2. Voting
From June 13-July 14, 2008, America votes for their favorite Semi-Finalist – and has the chance to win daily instant prizes, like mini-grills and Omaha Steaks Gift Cards – just for voting!
3. Cook-Off
The four Semi-Finalists to receive the most votes become Finalists and win a trip to participate in a cook-off to air on television during Labor Day weekend. Each Finalist also receives a $200 Omaha Steaks Gift Card and a case of Bush's Grillin' Beans.
On August 29, 2008, we announce the Grand Prize Winner, who wins $5,000 for a backyard makeover!
